Blog Commenting 101

I love my man's smile in this photo--halfway between adorable and sinister. Just the way I like him. It keeps things interesting.

I am feeling a little lonely on this side of this blog–no one has commented on any of my posts. Part of that is my fault–the blog template I chose doesn’t exactly make it obvious how to comment. So, if you have tried to comment and couldn’t figure out how, here’s a little tutorial. If you haven’t tried, here’s my not-so-subtle hint to do so if you feel the urge at some point. It makes me feel like I’m not just blogging into space. And I know that the things I am posting are just so profound that who WOULDN’T want to comment?? Global warming? Who cares! U.S. Elections? I can’t think why anyone would have any use for it. But my blog? Pure poetry. A reason to live, really.

Okay, back to the tutorial. There are three tabs at the top of my blog header: Home, About Trajectories, and Log In. Click the Log In tab, where you’ll be asked to sign up in order to comment. Don’t worry, they won’t ask for your first-born child, just a username and password.

UPDATE: I changed the settings on the blog, so now you don’t have to register to leave a comment. Hopefully this will make things easier for people!

Then, when you read something I’ve written and thought to yourself, “Wow, that was amazing. I think I should comment on this!!” click the link at the bottom of every post that will say either No Comments (if you are the first one) or X Comments, if other people already have.

It’s that easy! Now go think of interesting things to say because Lord knows this blog needs some comments from people who actually know what they are talking about.

Hello Sweetie! I’ve been wanting to comment on a few things for awhile! Bur first off, thanks for the updates on your new life.
    1. In one of your first posts you mentioned how you hope to never become a frumpy homebody. Hey! I’m slighty frumpy and I love being a homebody. It isn’t so bad. Ok, so maybe the frumpy part sucks.

    2. I loved your pics from your visit with that bird.

    3. We miss you!

My love, my love, my love!!

I am so sorry I haven’t posted…makes me feel odd that others can read this…so stop reading this, everyone! :)
Your adventures look fantastic. I think I’ll print the picture of you and the hawk and put it on my wall, just because I can…and you can’t do anything about it…
I’m glad you are allowing yourself to relax and play…like you said, you haven’t really been able to do that for years, so DO IT. That’s an order. I know that once you get a job, you will find more friends to play with. But in the mean time, know that you have a ton of friends and family here that love you and wish you were still here to play with them. You get all gradumitated and leave your sissy to play alone :(
I’ll try emailing you again tomorrow. I just gave you a quick one last week when asking for your Skype, but Chris got that for me…speaking of that, I’m next on the call list!!! We just have to set up a time. I’ll pretend I have a meeting and block my work schedule…hee hee…bad me.

I LOVE YOU. I MISS YOU.

LAURA! It’s Heather, your future sister-in-law. :) I miss you both, even though I barely saw ya’ll when you lived in MN. It seems as though everything is going well. As soon as David and I get some more $ we are coming to visit. Maybe it will be before the wedding. Who knows? Are you guys coming home for Christmas? We’re praying for you and are thinking of you each day. And we are voting for Obama. :)

    Love,
    heather
