I actually did not know you went to Romania! that's amazing! or maybe amazing that I'm so clueless. In any case, did you know I was actually IN Romania in 1991? 2 years after Nikoli Ceausescu was overthrown. I was going to Northwestern College in St. Paul at the time and ended up going to Europe for a moneth - 2 weeks on a singing tour with the Northwestern male chorus group. We went through Romania, Hungary and Austria signing in churches from Transylvania to Bucharest to Vienna !!! In Romania we went to Cluj, Timisoara, Budapest, Brasov, and some other places out of the way. We sang in The Black Church and that was something else. (you say something in there and it takes like, 30 seconds for your echo to come back!) In any case - good times! amazing country ! amazing peopel! I ahve more stories - maybe I'll blog about them and send you the link! :o) be blessed and have a good time! What are you doing there? hey guys! wow! Every time we read the latest installment Jeremy says the same thing "Laura is so funny! I didn't know Laura was so funny!" And I have to agree--your blog is just the right mix of interesting pictures and witty quotations. AND, young IS totally a state of mind. I didn't realize I was old until this morning when I saw a picture of the most recent cast of 90210 in the newspaper. My first thought was that they looked like they were in high school, and then I realized that the cast was supposed to look like they were in high school because their characters are in high school...
